PEGASYS Co-pay Card

The PEGASYS Co-pay Card may be able to help with the out-of-pocket costs of your PEGASYS® (peginterferon alfa-2a) for injection prescription.


Some health plans might not accept a co-pay card. Please contact your insurance provider to find out if your plan allows the use of co-pay cards.

To be eligible for a PEGASYS Co-pay Card, you must:

  • Be taking PEGASYS to treat chronic hepatitis B or C
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Not live in or get treated in Vermont
  • Not receive free medicine from the Genentech® Access to Care Foundation (GATCF) or other programs like it
  • Not be covered by a government-funded health care program. These include Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Replacement, Medicaid, TRICARE, and government employee plans


What the card covers


The card covers 80% of your co-pay for PEGASYS after the first $25 has been paid
Card limit Up to $1,500 or 2,400*† per year, depending on your income
*Up to $125 to $200 per month.
For patients with an annual household adjusted gross income exceeding 350% of the federal poverty level, the card has an annual limit of $1500 and a monthly limit of $125. This amount (350%) varies according to year, number of family members and state.
